Terry J. Wolthuis, O.D.
- Dr. Wolthuis has been specializing in ophthalmic and refractive clinic care since joining Great Plains Eye Specialistsin 2006. He previously worked in private practice here in Rapid City and at the Fort Meade Veterans Affairs Hospital in Sturgis.
- Dr. Wolthuis graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Science in 1999 and Doctor of Optometry degree in 2000, both from the Illinois College of Optometry.
- Dr. Wolthuis, and wife Kelly, have two very active children, Grant and Abby. In addition to spending quality time with the family, he enjoys golfing, hunting and fly-fishing.
Cris A. Mathews, P.A-C.
- Cris received her nursing degree from the Rapid City School of Nursing and later completed the Physician Assistant Program at the University of North Dakota at Grand Forks.
- Cris has over 25 years of experience in the field of ophthalmology and is licensed with the South Dakota Board of Nursing, South Dakota Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners, and the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants.
